White gold, with its magnificent luster, enjoys great popularity. For our white gold guardian angels, we use a nickel-free alloy with a high palladium content, which guarantees a noble and subtle color tone in which colorless diamonds can perfectly showcase their effect. Historically, gold purity has been measured in carats. 24 carats correspond to pure gold, or fine gold. The 750/- stamp on the Tarnoki guardian angel indicates that the piece of jewelry contains 750/- of 1,000 parts by weight, or 75%, of pure gold; this corresponds to 18 carats.
A brilliant is a round diamond cut with 58 facets: 32 facets on the top, 24 on the bottom, plus the table, the large facet on the top, and the culet, the facet at the bottom. The brilliant cut is the most common diamond cut because it gives the stone the highest brilliance and maximum brightness.
The term pavé (French for "pavement") describes a setting style. This diamond pendant features a total of 14 diamonds, with one diamond set in the head and 13 diamonds arranged closely together, like paving stones, filling the entire body. This setting style and the brilliant cut of the diamonds create a surface with maximum reflection – the result is an impressive, flat sparkle.
